    1. BEAT TOGETHER CREAM CHEESE, BUTTER AND VANILLA UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY. GRADUALLY ADD POWDERED SUGAR, BEATING TIL SMOOTH. SPREAD OVER COOKED CAKE, SPRINKLE WITH CHOPPED NUTS IF DESIRED.
