Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of White Karo 1 cup Sugar1 cup of creamy peanut butter 6 cups of rice 1 pkg of semi sweet chocolate chips 1 pkg of butterscotch chips

Instructions

  1. 1. Place corn syrup and sugar into 3-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter. Mix well. Add KELLOGG’S RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated. Press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Set aside. 2. Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together in 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Spread evenly over cereal mixture. Let stand until firm. Cut into 2 x 1-inch bars when cool.

Quick Notes

Note: Before measuring the corn syrup, coat your measuring cup with cooking spray–the syrup will pour easily out of the cup.

  • 2 1/2 c Flour 2 tsp soda 1 tsp ginger 1/2 t cloves 1 t cinnamon 1/4 t salt 1 c brown sugar 3/4 c oil 1 egg 1/4 c molasses

  1. Mix dry together than wet. Mix together. Make into 1 ” balls and roll in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees

      Ingredients

      • 1/2 c  (1 stick) butter softned
      • 1 c  light brown sugar
      • 3 T granulated sugar
      • 1 large egg
      • 2 t  vanilla extract
      • 1 3/4 c  all-purpose flour
      • 1/2 t baking powder
      • 1/2 t  baking soda
      • 1/2 t  salt
      • 1 1/2 t  instant espresso coffee powder
      • 1 1/2 c semisweet chocolate chips

      Instructions

      1. Preheat oven to 300
      2. Cream the butter with the sugars using an electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy, approximately 30 seconds. Beat in the egg and the vanilla extract for another 30 seconds. In a mixing bowl, sift together the dry ingredients and beat into the butter mixture at low speed for about 15 seconds. Stir in the espresso coffee powder and chocolate chips. Using a 1-ounce scoop or a 2-tablespoon measure, drop cookie dough onto a greased cookie sheet about 3 inches apart. Gently press down on the dough with the back of a spoon to spread out into a 2-inch circle. Bake for about 20 minutes or until nicely browned around the edges. Bake a little longer for a crispier cookie. Top with coffee bean on each cookie.   Serve warm with a glass of milk

    • 1-3/4 c  flour
    • 2 c sugar
    • 1/2 c cocoa powder
    • 1-1/2 t baking soda
    • 1-1/2 t baking powder
    • 1/4 t salt
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 c  milk
    • 1/2 c  oil
    • 2 tsp. vanilla
    • 1 c boiling water

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and dust with cocoa two 9″ layer cake pans. Set aside. In large bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir with wire whisk until blended. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla and beat well with wire whisk or mixer until combined, about 2 minutes. While beating, heat water in microwave oven to boiling. Stir boiling water into cake batter. Pour the thin batter into the two prepared pans. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until cake pulls away from sides of pan, top springs back when lightly touched, and a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes, then remove from pans and cool completely on wire racks. Fill and frost with double the recipe of Peanut Butter Frosting.

    • 1/4 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup peanut butter 3 to 4 cups powdered sugar 2-5 Tbsp. milk 1/8 tsp. salt 2 tsp. vanilla

    Instructions

    1. In large bowl, combine butter, peanut butter, half of the powdered sugar, salt, vanilla, and 2 Tbsp. milk. Mix well, adding more milk and powdered sugar as needed to make a fluffy spreadable frosting. Frosts 8″ layer cake or sides and top of 9″ layer cake.

    • 1 c soft shortening (butter flavor) 1 1/2 c sugar 2 eggs  3 cups  flour 2 t cream of tartar 1 t soda 1/2 t salt 1 c sugar 2 T cinnamon

    1. Cream together the shortening, sugar and eggs. add dry ingredients. Roll into balls and roll in cinnamon and sugar mix. Bake on greased cookie sheet. 400 degrees 8-10 minutes
